I am...Robin Fierce

Updated: Apr 28, 2022

Ok ok...here name is not actually Robin "Fierce" but it is Robin and she is fierce. I have actually had the

pleasure of knowing Robin for a few years now. She loves her family fiercely, cares for her friends passionately, and wanted to be empowered by her Senior Portrait experience. I was more than happy to help!

Robin made sure that her make-up and hair were professional done for the senior portrait session at UCR. When we discussed what she wanted to convey and how she was hoping to look Robin told me immediately and unequivocally to, "make me look like Beyoncé." Robin's clear vision told me exactly what I needed to do to make sure she was thrilled with her senior pictures. She also told me she wanted some pictures with her family (I'm always happy to include the family!) Although not always possible it really is fun family members are local to the Riverside, CA area so they can attend.

Now here is the best part, not only is Robin confident but she is also funny. I mean...her Mom was laughing, her sisters were laughing, her niece was cracking up, and I was even laughing. You may see a lot of serious poses in the set I put here but these were taken in-between the full on chuckelfest. I am usually telling jokes to break the ice but no need today. This is what senior pictures are all about...having fun!

When Robin saw her images she decided to purchase a beautiful wall art piece of the whole family to hang in her home and a Keepsake Box collection of her favorite images. Here is what Robin wrote about her experience: "I had an amazing shoot with John-Paul. He is super energetic and passionate about what he does, his energy and charisma really helps settle the uncomfortableness you may feel at the beginning of the shoot. I absolutely love my portraits and the materials they are on! I definitely recommend using his services if you are looking for someone to beautifully capture your special moments!"

P.S. Now, let me tell you a little secret. If you want to have that fierce look and show how strong you are there is one thing you have to know. Most of the time during the portrait session...she was laughing. That is correct - big smiling laughs. Think about it as the opposite of what you are used to when taking pictures. Instead of prompting her for a big smile, I am saying, "ok...be fierce!"
