Much of the time I know the students from UCR (I work there in my day job) who hire me to take their Senior Portraits, but not always. Jasmine contacted me after seeing images from other Graduate Portrait sessions I have done. During our first phone meeting, I asked her what it was about my work that she liked the most. Her answer shocked me! What she liked the most was the reviews I have received from previous clients that mentioned how I help pose my clients. Her very real worry was that she wouldn't know how to pose and that she needed a photographer to help. Honestly, I have never heard a better reason to hire professional photographer. Being a senior photographer is so much more than just taking pictures. For my sessions, we plan outfits, looks, location, and even what photographic products you want at the end (wall-art, albums, gift prints, and thank you cards).
Jasmine arrived to her session looking stunning! The plan was to get some great cap & gown portraits and then have some fun. Throughout our conversation, I learned that Jasmine has done some TV work but is aspiring to be an entertainment lawyer. Jasmine had one special request, she wanted to get some pictures with the palm trees to show everyone she went to school in California (she is from Texas). When she saw the pictures at her ordering appointment she was thrilled!
