Life is Better with Friends

Updated: Aug 26

Andrea took her first picture at UCR in Riverside, California over 15 years ago standing next to her big brother. Now all these years later she is graduating and she would have loved to take one more picture with him - but it was not meant to be. We tried to recreate that picture, but the campus has changed. Buildings were built, the trees grew, Andrea grew, and her brother couldn’t be there but she was not alone. The sisters she has made at UCR were there with her.

Andrea has been a student leader planning awesome events for students for a few year (which was no small feat during COVID) and very active with her sorority doing all sorts of fun and great things. While most of the senior pictures were of Andrea we included her squad for quite a few which ranged from fun to epic. It was really fun getting them all posed up and everyone wore such great outfits to make wonderful pictures. All the giggling and support helped keep the energy up and watching them take selfies as really cute. I really love group photo sessions - maybe I should start a model team 🧐.

Anyway, my point is that Andrea never planned to be graduating under the circumstances life has brought but having her sisters with her made her pictures special and unique to the chapter of life she spent in Riverside. From Hinderaker to the UCR sign we covered so many beautiful areas of campus. I know she will love the mounted 8x10 prints in her Keepsake box forever and hopefully when it is time for her sisters to graduate - they will contact me for their senior pictures too.
