I absolutely adore it when my clients love their images. As a family portrait photographer that is 100% always my goal. There are always a few clues that I have done a great job. Mom will start crying during the slide show where I present all the images. Dad will say something like, "Wow! We clean up well...pick whatever you want honey." The tween / teen in the family will exclaim, "I actually look pretty ok for once." 🙄. Today, I got a new one for you.
A little background for you. I have taken family portraits or Mommy and Me portraits in Riverside and Redlands for this family a few times over the past many years. When she booked this year and during the ordering session Molly let me know exactly what she needed to update some frames in her home, add to her stair gallery, and loose prints to send to friends and family. After the ordering session, I do final editing on the purchased images and send a digital gallery since I always provide digitals of purchased images to my clients. Most of the time folks excitedly write a caption before posting to Facebook something that sounds like, "Here are our great family portraits...Seasons Greetings...etc." But that kind of post is not my friend Molly. Instead she wrote, "Did you ever think that maybe there's more to life than being really really really ridiculously good looking?" I absolutely love this!

A few things I do to make sure that we create great family photos, is to make sure that you are absolutely prepared from time and location to what to wear. I only plan one session a day (unless it is a mini-session) so there is no rush. I keep the portrait session light and fun. Then I help you figure out what to do with all your wonderful images from designing wall art galleries and storyboards to helping you find the perfect gift. Oh and if it is holiday time - I have you covered with greetings cards too!
