During our family sessions we often say, "Let's just have fun - after all we are just taking pictures." We have found that when our clients are having fun the session flies by and we take amazing images that capture the spirit of a family. This is exactly what happened when we met up with the Girod family for their mini-session. You would be hard pressed to find a family who has more fun together and with those they are around then this Riverside family. The boys love being silly and Mom and Dad are no strangers to laughing and joking with them. As photographers, witnessing and capturing a family's joy is just wonderful!
Now on a different note, it is so wonderful when you find someone who is a cheerleader for you. I must say, "thank you, thank you, thank you" to Emily for being that for us. Shortly after their session, Emily wrote on our community Facebook page: "This past weekend we had family pictures taken by John-Paul Wolf photography. John-Paul and his family live here in Spring Mountain Ranch! The session was very low stress and John-Paul and his wife Shannon were very organized and efficient." You know what I love about this? It is that she never mentioned the pictures (you can see them all over my website) instead she focused on the experience. Sure we will capture great images but it won't matter a whole lot if you hated the experience.
