What a Joy to work with

Updated: Aug 26

Our new friend Joy is a soon to be graduate from Cal-State San Bernardino! Joy told me early on that she missed the opportunity to take pictures her High School Senior year so after working really hard and graduating in just 3 years from college with a nearly 4.0gpa - she wanted professional senior portraits. Joy said that she just wanted to celebrate her achievement and have pictures that she can look back on to remember her time with her friends and all that she has done.

Leading up to her session, Joy sent me many pictures of outfits that she was considering and we discussed how her wardrobe would work with the different shots I had in mind. Joy also said that she wanted greenery and colorful flowers in her final pictures. Also, it was very important to her that she have a digital print that she could upload to Cal-State San Bernardino so they could show her image when she walked across the stage to get her diploma. With all of this in mind we planned and scheduled her senior portrait session so she would have everything she needed in time for graduation.

In addition to the cap and gown, Joy decided on a lovely white dress and a fun yellow dress. We found all sorts of greenery and flowers to fill her images. I will admit it was a little cold this day but Joy was a true trooper!

As gifts for her family, Joy decided to order a gorgeous Crystal Block to display in her home and a fine art print for her Dad's desk (I'm not gonna lie - I always love it when daughters think to get their Dad something 😁). Joy was also happy to receive a smart phone app with some of her favorite images from the session. This is what we love to do - make sure everyone leaves with images that will make them happy.
